Transmog Changes on Warlords of Draenor Alpha

On live servers you can't transmog polearms over swords, axes or maces (and vice versa), but on the Alpha it's a totally different story, as you can see in the header image below. No idea if this is an intended change or not but it's certainly a welcome one for those of us who happen to carry a Hellreaver in our bags.

You can test it with axes, maces and swords - you can transmog a polearm to any of these, and any of these can be transmogged to a polearm as well. It also works with staves, as I transmogged my Zhar'doom over my Greatsword of Pride's Fall, and transmogged Zhar'doom itself to Gartok, Strength of the Faithful.

This is a pretty big unannounced change. Legendaries still can't be mogged to or from but this is still a lot more flexibility. Druids will be able to go with a mace they like over a polearm or staff, or the reverse, and warriors, paladins and DK's will be able to go hog wild. We are professional in offering a wide selection of WoW items here.

Warlords of Draenor Alpha: New Draenei Male Model Appears

Here he is, in all his glory, the brand new draenei male as he appears on the alpha servers. As Chris Robinson said earlier today, various new models are being released on the alpha -- they're not done, very much works in progress, and this model is no exception but it's a huge improvement overall. Very fluid, nicely rendered, and an overall solid piece of work.

The animations themselves are much the same, but the faces have a lot more motion to them, and the floating shoulders have been fixed. It's a really excellent model for one that's unfinished. This is the perfect place for you to buy WoW items!

Latest Human Male Model Revealed

Alliance fans rejoice! Blizzard has just revealed the revamped human male model, coming in Warlords of Draenor. Like previous reveals, the new model's increased fidelity is immediately obvious. The work done on his facial structure will be appreciated, too -- though he does bear a striking resemblance to Tarzan.

In the reveal, Art Director Chris Robinson also mentions that select work-in-progress models will be hitting the Warlords of Draenor alpha in the near future. The final versions of those models will be revealed on the website. Check out here to buy WoW items!

Tanaan Jungle to Be Added When Alpha Comes Back Up

While the alpha came up briefly, it seems to have been in error, as Community Manager Zarhym posted this earlier. However, it does strongly suggest that when the Alpha comes back up for real, it will be with Tanaan Jungle included! Here is what Community Manager Zarhrm posted on the forums:

We're working on creating a build that's not only stable, but ensures that alpha participants are able to fully test the latest Warlords content -- such as the Shadowmoon Valley Alliance quest and Garrison content, and the Tanaan Jungle introductory Draenor experience. That said, we don't currently expect that a new build will be ready for release today. Our goal remains to release a solid build as soon as possible, and we'll provide further updates once we have a more specific timeframe for bringing the alpha realms back online.

We can't wait to give you an early opportunity to step through the Dark Portal into Tanaan Jungle, and break ground on your Alliance Garrison in Shadowmoon Valley!
We are dedicated to offering the widest range of WoW items online, and you will find what you need here!

Upcoming Deserter Hotfixes for Rated PvP

PvP has long has the Deserter debuff, which means that there's a cost to simply dropping a game rather than taking the loss. However, that system is being changed in terms of how it functions in rated PvP like Arenas and rated battlegrounds. For starters, it's being applied to said rated PvP. In addition to now getting the Deserter debuff for rated PvP, how it works for random BG's will also be changing. The community manager said that they are applying a couple hotfixes that will make a few changes to how the Deserter debuff functions, and also apply it to Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. Here is the details:

Once these hotfixes are applied, a player who leaves an Arena or Rated Battleground before anyone in the match has entered combat will, at first, be given a 5-minute Deserter debuff. If they leave another match prematurely within a 20-minute window, the duration of the Deserter debuff will increase by 5 minutes each time (and the 20-minute window will restart), to a maximum of 20 minutes. The debuff will also apply if a player leaves the queue (or ignores it) once the match is ready and they’re given the prompt to enter.

The Deserter debuff given for leaving a non-rated Battleground early will also be changed to begin at 5 minutes (and increase by 5 minutes for each subsequent desertion), but otherwise the rules will stay the same. Leaving a Random Battleground in progress at any point before it’s finished will give the Deserter debuff, and leaving or ignoring the prompt to enter a non-rated Battleground will not.

The change seems aimed at allowing players who just drop occasionally to get back into PvP relatively quickly, while becoming more onerous if you're a serial dropper. Rated PvP will also get the debuff if they queue but don't accept the queue, while randoms will not, which seems reasonable.

Qiraji Guardling Pet Begins Spawn

June 21 is the first official day of summer, and that means the Qiraji Guardling has begun spawning on all servers. Like its counterpart the Snowy Owl, this pet is only seasonally available, which means you've got a limited time to capture one for yourself. The Guardling spawns in southern Silithus, along the walls of Ahn'Qiraj -- both inside the entrance area, and just outside near the Scarab Wall. The pet spawns anywhere from poor to rare quality, and is always accompanied by two other critters, so make sure you've got a decent team put together before you set out.

The Qiraji Guardling is on the list of required pets for the World Safari achievement and its associated Zookeeper title, so if you're looking to complete those achievements, you'll want to grab one of these pets while they are available. No need to hurry too quickly, though -- the Qiraji Guardling will keep spawning until the Autumnal Equinox, which falls on Tuesday, September 23 this year. Happy hunting! Warlords of Draenor: Shadowmoon Valley Preview

The official site displayed the Shadowmoon Valley preview, and we have to admit that many players are so excited about it.

Hidden under a shroud of perpetual night broken only by bright starlight, the lush idyllic forests of Shadowmoon Valley are home to a majestic draenei tomb and sanctuary: Karabor. While many of Shadowmoon’s denizens study prophecy among Karabor’s ancient stone circles, plotters with darker ambitions lurk in the valley’s vast underground cave network, gazing greedily at the sacred temple.

In Warlords of Draenor, Shadowmoon Valley serves as the starting zone for Alliance players once they’ve endured the initial rigors of Tanaan Jungle and survived their first encounter with the Iron Horde. To take you on a journey through Shadowmoon’s forests, temples, and secrets, we’ve tapped one of the creative minds behind the zone, Senior Designer Helen Cheng.

Hope that you will get to explore it soon on the alpha and getting to read about what’s going on the zone. Just head over to the official site and read what Senior Designer Helen Cheng has to say about Shadowmoon Valley, the Alliance's first stop on Draenor. The Ritual Slaughtering of the Mammoth

The gathered masses on the Timeless Isle were restless. All the rares had been killed, the chests had been looted, and the weird pirate ship had been summoned and destroyed. All that remained was Huolon. But he wouldn't show himself. After an hour of waiting, the mob decided that they needed a sacrifice. Straws were drawn. One tauren came up short. And then the other mammoths devoured the victim. Simple, but bleak. I prefer my method of Huolon-finding, which involves running around the Isle skinning other people's kills until someone writes "Huolon's up" in general chat. WoD: Big Changes to Monks

At the official site, the latest Warlords of Draenor alpha patch notes have been released, and they come with some pretty hefty changes to monks--Mistweavers in particular. Blizzard has been experimenting with the monk class, and that comes as no real surprise. They were the new kids of Mists of Pandaria, so it's expected that they'll be getting relatively large changes in the expansion immediately following their introduction. Death Knights went through the same thing in Cataclysm, so this seems to be just part of the new class cycle. Keep that in mind as we go over the changes; this is still alpha, after all, and if there were any time for Blizzard to play around and see what happens, it's now.

The biggest changes in the current build involve haste, the global cooldown, and the separation of the traditional healing style of Mistweavers versus the Eminence dps-while-healing style. Like Warriors, a number of the monk changes show a great emphasis on the importance of stances, and how different stances affect gameplay. The monk change notes are after the break, with the strikeouts left intact so as to illustrate the dynamic changes from the last alpha build.

At this stage of the alpha, Blizzard is focusing heavily on the Mistweaver monk and balancing traditional healing play style with the Eminence healing-through-damage (aka "Fistweaving") play style. In order to better separate the two styles of play, Mistweaver monks will be getting a new stance: Stance of the Spirited Crane, which sets the monk's attack power at 100% of their spell power and gives them Eminence, and thus all the abilities associated with Eminence.

The changes are clearly stated to be an effort toward separating the two styles of Mistweaver healing. Blizzard does not want players to be able to overlap traditional healing with "Fistweaving" gameplay, and they've made it impossible to use the fundamental spells of each approach in the "wrong" stance. As a long time druid player, the balancing act Blizzard's attempting here reminds me very strongly of the efforts Blizzard went to over the years to separate bear-form tanking and cat-form melee DPS while they were both still rolled into the single Feral druid spec. In the end, the developers gave up entirely on that model and split those roles into two different specs. Here, you are able to find the largest selection of WoW items!

WoW: Guess Your Fellow Gamers’ Ages According To Jumping

When trying to figure out just who we're playing with in virtual spaces like World of Warcraft, we often watch how they talk for clues. Common knowledge suggests that gamers who are more mature -- and therefore older -- will be more grammatically correct, typing in complete sentences with proper punctuation rather than leaning on acronyms and slang. However, a recent study on gaming chat by a Colorado State University researcher suggests our common knowledge might just be wrong -- because while phrasing can certainly give us hints at a typist's age, Millennials are better at grammar than we think.

In a study of players in Second Life and World of Warcraft, research concludes that the more definite indicator of age is how players move. Younger players jump about twice as often as older players, as well as moving more in general (15% more) and moving backwards more often (30% more). wow items So before calling out your fellow players for immature kids, you might keep an eye on how often they jump -- if they don't, they may just be straight-up immature. Bloody Coins Now 100% Drop Rate

Bloody coins, which you get through the Timeless Isle's Fire-Watcher's Oath, have recently undergone some major changes. The drop rate was nerfed when the Censer of Eternal Agony was nerfed, and collecting bloody coins became a head-desking activity. Fortunately, that's changed now.

Hinted at over Twitter yesterday and posted on the forums last night, the Oath now guarantees a 100% drop rate on the bloody coins in Battlegrounds. Just get the killing blow and you'll be set.

WoD: Changes to Weapon Imbues and Unleash Elements

As part of the most recent Alpha build, shaman weapon imbues (Windfury, Flametongue, Earthliving) have been removed. CM Lore got on the forums and explained exactly what was up, you can find the rundown of changes on the Blizzard official site.

The new passive, Enhanced Weapons, acts as Lore detailed - it basically gives your attacks the chance to have the effects of Windfury or Flametongue without actually having Windfury or Flametongue on them. In addition to this change, Unleash Elements now becomes one of three spec and imbue specific Unleash abilities, Unleash Life for Restoration, Unleash Flame for Elemental and Unleash Elements for Enhancement. Each unleashes as the ability does on live with the proper imbue. In addition to this, if you want to buy WoW items, don’t hesitate to visit our site!

WoD: New Alpha Build

A new build has been released onto the Warlords of Draenor alpha servers. The servers are not yet available for play by testers, so any changes in available content are currently unknown. However, dataminers are already hard at work. The current build includes numerous class changes, glyph changes, and myriad similar updates.

The build also appears to include numerous scenarios relating to old dungeons. For example, an Utgarde Pinnacle scenario with a straightforward objective: defeat the bosses of Utgarde Pinnacle. As we're unable to playtest at the moment, the implementation of these scenarios is unknown. It's possible content from previous expansions will scale up with us as scenarios.

Followers for the Alliance garrison appear in the latest build, too. Warlord of Draenor: New Mage Spells Preview

This series is starting off by looking at the new Mage abilities and/or animations in Warlords of Draenor. The Spellbook for each class is being improved a lot. As with every expansion, many spells have been added, while other were removed. It's a pity we're not seeing complete new spell animations for abilities you spam the most, like Fireball or Frostbolt. Maybe Blizzard will eventually look into that in the future, I guess they're too busy with them models right now.

Spells being previewed: Comet Storm, Ice Nova, Arcane Orb, Supernova, Meteor, Evanesce, Amplify Magic, Prismatic Crystal.

New Fishing Version in Warlords of Draenor

In the past, the basic cooking fish will not appear in the new version, but the flesh of fish was used. Now, the alpha is available. The fish caught are just like package which could be opened, and you can pick up the flesh of fish according to the body sizes. Click here to find the ideal place to buy WoW items.
Take the Blackwater whiptail example; the following fish can be caught:

Small Blackwater Whiptail
Blackwater Whiptail
Enormous Blackwater Whiptail

Each size of fish has a different amount of flesh. The larger the fish is, the more flesh will be. Of course, your fish skills will determine the size of the fish being caught. If you have high fishing skill, you will easily catch the large fish. More importantly, each type of fish has its form of bait. Without bait, the best you can get will be small fish or ordinary big fish. However, using the bait will help you catch the enormous fish more likely.

Overall, the fishing now seems to be more complex that it used to be, and the fishing model in the Warlords of Draenor database can also prove that. It’s no different that leveling herbalism in Mists of Pandaria -- you can pick Pandaren herbs at a low level of herbalism, but at a much smaller yield.

WoD : New Quest and Map Interface

The quest UI has received some tweaks and changes in Warlords of Draenor -- no longer simply a quest log, it has been renamed to the more appropriate Map & Quest Log instead. Hitting L for your quest log will now bring up a new pane which combines both map and quest log into one handy place. You can still hit M for a full sized map, but it almost isn't necessary with this new feature -- the drop down menus at the top of the pane will let you switch between continents, and then sub-zones within those continents.

It honestly reminds me of the current Dungeon Journal UI, which lets you choose between expansions, dungeon or raid content, and then individual dungeons or raids for boss strategies and loot lists. And frankly, this is one of those quality of life changes I didn't really realize I needed until I saw it in action.

Clicking on a quest in the list will bring up the quest text, and the appropriate map for the quest. All information in the old quest log is still here -- rewards, experience, and the ability to abandon the quest if you want to do so. The quest tracker has also received a small graphical update with a new header bar, but otherwise remains the same. Right now, clicking on a quest in the tracker will bring up the old quest log UI, but considering we're still in alpha, that may be changed at a later date. Although it's small, it's a great change as far as I'm concerned -- I honestly didn't realize exactly how much time I spent flipping between my quest text and the map pane until I suddenly didn't have to do it anymore. Guardian Cub Will Vanish From Blizzard Store In About 2 Weeks

The offcial site posts Guardian Cub pet is going to be removed from Blizzard Store in about two weeks. So if you still miss this pet or you want to buy a few more you should do that before June 18. We have no idea why Blizzard is removing this pet, but I assume is has something to do with his uniqueness. This pet was the only bet that you could buy with real money and sell it in game for gold. Basically it was a very legal method of buying gold in-game.

I’m pretty sure that a lot of people will buy it these days and its in-game price will be the same or even lower, but in time it will be more and more rare and its price will increase drastically.
So, if you want to invest in pet now is the time, even if this will be a long term investment. This site offers a wide range of WoW gears here, and it is easy for you to buy any WoW items as you want!

WoD Alpha Adds Outline Mode

The Warlords of Draenor alpha has implemented Outline Mode, which you can see in action in the screenshot below. Characters you target or mouse over are now given a glowing highlight. Friendly players or NPCs glow green, aggressive characters or NPCs glow red, neutral NPCs glow yellow, and characters that are not flagged for PVP glow blue. Quest items are given a yellow glow from afar, regardless of whether you've moused over them or not, making them far easier to find. The outline is initially quite bright, but fades to a softer color shortly after. You are able to buy WoW items at this professional site.

While not a necessary addition, it does help make your target stand out from a crowd or from a busy background. Outline Mode also provides at-a-glance information about whether your target is friend or foe, eliminating the need to first look at a nameplate. Seeing it action makes me wonder if it would be viable to play entirely without a UI when there isn't text in need of being read. It also works from a distance, highlighting targets that might be very far away, and thus very small on your screen. I could see that being a boon to players with poor vision. That was not a pun.

If you aren't a fan of Outline Mode, it can be disabled in your system settings or changed to a mode wherein only quest NPCs are highlighted.

After months of eager anticipation, it appears the Warlords of Draenor Friends & Family Alpha Test may finally be upon us. Community members are reporting that they have received invitations and others state the alpha client has appeared on the Battle.net launcher. If you are interested in WoW gears, then you will not be disappointed here!

Keybindings are a lot nicer in alpha, there are different sections for each type so you don't have to scroll through a huge list.

•Bags now have filters as well as a "Clean up Bags" option that resorts your bags.
•The in-game shop option now has Warforged Nightmare and Grinning Reaver for sale.
•The Dungeon Journal now has a new role description section for bosses.
•The map and quest log interface have been merged together. Bonus objectives for specific areas show up as swords on the map.
•Mounts now show mounts you can't use in a certain zone as red.
•The basics of the Toybox UI are in, under a new Collections button.
•There are lots of jumping games in the style of the Timeless Isle--chests located on cliffs that require some planning to reach. These contain Garrison materials.
•The World map automatically turns transparent when it's open if you move.

Dev Watercooler: WoD Stat Updates

Blizzard has just posted a large blog detailing updates to many of the stats in WoW. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes on these stats since BlizzCon 2013, and it's clear that Blizzard is working hard to get through various design issues they've noticed. It's also clear (as in the case of a stat like Multistrike) that they've taken feedback from the community and ran with it. When you want to buy WoW items, you can check out here!
Blizzard's post provides a handy list summarizing the changes coming up in Warlords:

Secondary Stats
■Haste: (Unchanged) Increases attack speed, spell casting speed, and some resource generation
■Critical Strike: (Unchanged) Increases your chance to critically strike, dealing double damage
■Mastery: (Unchanged) Increases the effectiveness of your specialization-specific Mastery
■Multistrike: (New) Grants two chances for your damage and healing effects to fire an additional time, each at 30% effectiveness
■Versatility: (New) Increases damage and healing, and reduces damage taken
■Spirit: (Unchanged, healer-only) Increases mana regeneration rate
■Bonus Armor: (New, tank-only) Increases your armor

Minor Stats
■Movement Speed: (New) Increases your movement speed
■Indestructible: (New) Causes the item to not take durability damage
■Leech: (New) Causes you to be healed for a portion of all damage and healing done
■Avoidance: (New) Reduces your damage taken from area-of-effect attacks.
You can read the detailed post at the official site.

Azeroth Choppers Series Recap, Vote Closing Tonight

In case you somehow missed the series run of Azeroth Choppers, Blizzard has put together a brief recap of the show in its entirety. I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect with this particular foray into web entertainment, but the prospect of getting a new mount is always good news -- and we've never had a mount introduced in quite this fashion before, nor have we seen Azeroth's various pieces of engineering construction built in real life. Although personally, I think the show missed the mark on highlighting all the details of the construction process, it was still a pretty fun, lighthearted series.

However, voting for the winning chopper ends tonight at 12pm PDT -- and episode 8, coming later this week, will supposedly announce the winning vehicle. We know we're getting a free mount either way, so why not have a hand in the decision making process? Cast your vote for the chopper you'd like to see added to your mount collection on the official site -- and stay tuned for the announcement of the winning team. If you are interested in the WoW gears, you can visit here to find some.

WoW: The Official Site Updated With New Gnome, Tauren Models

The official WoW site has had two new additions -- both the female gnome and male tauren 3D models have been added to the page. The male tauren was showcased last month in an edition of Artcraft that primarily featured the animation of the model, including expressions, speech and movement. In all of the emotive cheering, laughing, dancing, and speech, there wasn't exactly a lot of menacing expression. It is quite easy for you to buy WoW items here.

As for the female gnome, you can see her briefly at BlizzCon, but she was never actually featured in an Artcraft of her own. The female gnome update is adorable and doesn’t quite capture the sheer range of expressiveness like the new model does. We expect to see more of characters in action at official web site.
